Are you a QMHP certified professional who has a passion for providing vital program service delivery to the community by using trauma informed and equity lens approaches?
**This is a full time position with .88 FTE ( week one- 30 hours, and week two- 40 hours with the possibility to pick up extra shifts outside of the weekly schedule) offers routine telework. Currently, all employees must reside in Oregon or Washington; the county cannot support ongoing telework from other states. Please indicate in your cover letter which shift(s) you are interested in.
Weekly scheduled hours: Wed- Fri, alternating Sat, 5pm- 3:30am
The Multnomah County Behavioral Health Call Center is a 24 hour, continuous crisis operation that constitutes the hub of mental health services for all residents of Multnomah County and Washington County. The vast majority of services are provided via telephone with approximately 75,000 calls received per year.
Staff at the Call Center answer and triage multiple distinct telephone lines that ring into the Call Center, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year including:
1) Multnomah County Crisis Line
2) 911 transfer line
3) EASA Referral Line
4) Emergency Line (major event communication, e.g. terrorist attack, major earthquake, etc.)
5) Washington County Crisis Line
6) Mental Health Referral Line
7) The CATC/Respite referral line
8) 988 transfer line
7) Latine Mental Health Line
The purpose of the Acute Care Coordinator position is to triage/ crisis intervention on the Multnomah and Washington County Crisis Lines; care coordination across the mental health system for callers, as needed; provide information/referral to community mental health providers; and provide consultation to providers at all levels of acuity in the mental health system.

Required Minimum Qualifications/Transferable Skills:
Education/Training: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in the mental health field with major coursework in social science, or a related field demonstrating the capacity for the required knowledge and skills to meet provider Qualified Mental Health Professional QMHP-R ) credentialing requirements as required by Oregon Administrative Rules ( OARs) and the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO) - more information can be found at MHACBO website. QMHP - R within 30 days of hire, current QMHP - R, and/or licensed Board of Oregon (LPC, LCSW, PHD, LMFT, etc.)
