JOB SUMMARY: The Senior HRIS Analyst will lead the configuration, optimization, and strategic initiatives within the Workday platform. This position serves as a Workday subject matter expert (SME), responsible for managing complex system configurations, designing custom reports, and leading large-scale HRIS projects. The role requires deep expertise in Workday modules such as Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Compensation, Time Tracking, and Report Writer.
This position requires regular in-office attendance. Therefore, candidates must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Des Moines metropolitan area. Proof of residence or relocation plans may be requested during the hiring process.

Oversee the configuration, enhancement, and support of Workday modules, including Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Compensation, Time Tracking, and Report Writer.
Lead Workday projects, such as new module implementations, system upgrades, and process optimizations.
Design and maintain complex calculated fields, custom reports, dashboards, and business processes within Workday.
Manage Workday security roles, business process configurations, and integrations with external systems.
Provide expert-level support, guidance, and training to HR, Payroll, and other stakeholders on Workday functionalities.
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders for issue resolution, system enhancements, and best practices.
Mentor and support junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of Workday experience, including deep technical expertise with Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Compensation, Time Tracking, and Report Writer.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Proven experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio) and data transformation processes.
Strong analytical skills and experience with advanced report writing, including Matrix and Composite reports.
Demonstrated ability to lead HRIS projects and manage cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
Workday Pro certifications are highly desirable.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
