We’re looking for a Technical Talent Sourcer to help us identify and engage the very best engineers to build the next generation of merchant connectivity.
Own top-of-funnel sourcing for technical roles
Partner closely with cofounders and hiring managers to understand role requirements and candidate profiles
Build and manage outbound pipelines using platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, and niche sourcing tools
Craft thoughtful outreach to engage high-potential candidates and drive top-of-funnel activity
Experiment with new sourcing strategies and iterate quickly based on what’s working
Maintain a clean and organized pipeline in Ashby (our ATS) and keep stakeholders informed
Conduct initial phone screens and move candidates through the recruiting process
Represent Knot to prospective candidates with clarity, enthusiasm, and authenticity
Operate with urgency and precision in a fast-moving startup environment
1–3 years of experience sourcing technical talent (e.g. software engineers, engineering leaders)
Strong research and Boolean search skills — you know how to find needles in haystacks
Exceptional written communication and outreach skills
Ability to stay organized and prioritize in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
High attention to detail and follow-through
Grit, hustle, and curiosity — you’re hungry to learn and grow
Experience with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Ashby, etc.) is a plus
Prior startup experience is a plus, but not required
