Summary:
The Manufacturing Training Supervisor will be based in Dallas TX, reporting to the OPEX Manager
This role will be In charge of developing and conducting training programs for employees within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Contributes to needs investigation studies to define training opportunities within an organization.
Confers with management to gain knowledge of specific work situations requiring employees to better recognize changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies.
Formulates teaching outline and define instructional methods such as unipersonal training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.
Identifies or develops testing and evaluation procedures to be used at completion of training.
Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as new employee orientation, on-the-job training, use of computers and software, apprenticeship programs, customer service, sales techniques, health and safety practices, public relations, refresher training, promotional development, upgrading and business development.
Evaluates participants to measure progress and to ascertain effectiveness of training.
Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
Revises design of training curriculum and methods to improve effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of training experience.
Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic process skills.
Demonstrates advanced/thorough knowledge of the function and Flex business.
ASTD member or certification preferred.
