Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of various SEC filings and technical accounting research
- Process and pay vendor and employee invoices and expenses
- Support month-end close reconciliations including journal entry preparation and review
- Manage vendor contracts, purchase orders and support contract budget development
- Ensure policy compliance and serve as finance approver for expense questions
- Support financial reporting, audits, tax compliance, and day-to-day accounting management
- Coordinate financial data consolidation and work with external accounting firms
- Monitor accounts, ledgers, and reporting to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulations
- Partner with auditors on annual audits and SEC financial filings
- Evaluate accounting and internal control systems for improvements and SOX compliance
- Conduct research on complex accounting issues and provide guidance on treatments
- Assist with special projects including technical accounting and audit support
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- CPA certification required
