Job Summary:
Casa Imports, Italian Foods specialty distributorship is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts
- Manage the budgeting process and monitor financial performance against budgets
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Coordinate audits
- Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred
- Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
