How will you make an impact in this role? 

American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) offers powerful backing and support that helps companies of all sizes gain financial savings, control and efficiency. We provide a suite of payment and lending products, solutions for travel and everyday business spending, cross border payments, global currency solutions, and business financing. The Global Commercial Services Marketing team is responsible for creating an end-to-end global marketing strategy and distribution plan for our prospect & customer segments around the world. 

Reporting to the VP & GM of Global, Large & Managed Marketing, this Executive Administrative Assistant role would be a part of GLAMM team, based out of New York. The candidate would be responsible for supporting 1-2 VP’s and their teams administratively.  

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Organizing and coordinating the employee culture initiatives
  • Day to day functioning/administrative work: Organize travel arrangements and processing/reconciling travel expenses schedule meetings and appointments, organize and maintain paper and electronic files, manage projects, conduct research, and provide information via the telephone, postal mail, and e-mail. Receive telephone calls and visitors to the office.
  • Secretarial Assistance: Responsibility for the leaders, Calendar Management and coordinating with US and global teams for scheduling the meetings
  • Independently handle routine affairs, referral to concerned functions and follow up through closure
  • Preparation of material for office presentations
  • Schedule and manage Calendar, Team Huddles, other internal & external meetings, PR and courtesy calls as well as business commitments, travel etc. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leadership in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent calendar management skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt and be flexible in a dynamic workplace
  • Proven team player with the ability to collaborate across a broad range of contacts and personalities – internal and external
  • Strong sense of integrity with ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Exceptional organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal guidance, solution-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely thorough with a high level of attention to detail and quality; timely follow up
  • Experience in providing support remotely to a geographically disbursed team

Salary Range: $24.05 to $48.10 hourly + bonus + benefits
