Senior Software Engineer - Backend (Cloud Platform)
Skills
- Proficiency in Golang or similar backend languages.
- Experience with RESTful API and microservices architecture.
- Deep understanding of authentication and authorization protocols.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and IAM services.
- Strong containerization and orchestration skills, especially Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and security experts to define requirements and architect solutions.
- Understand platform components like authentication, RBAC, microservices, Kubernetes to assist with Cloud-Prem deployments.
- Optimize performance of metadata ingestion pipelines.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and auditing to ensure compliance and visibility.
- Continuously improve platform security, scalability, and performance through code reviews and testing.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
