Senior iOS Engineer — Consumer Feed & Content

Our Consumer iOS team is focused on building personalized, candid, and social features that reduce anxiety, increase confidence, and foster authentic professional exploration. We’re looking for a senior iOS engineer to take our feed and content experiences to the next level—helping students browse and create rich text, video, and image-based content that feels modern, social, and inspiring.

Your role

• Lead development of new iOS features, especially around social feeds, content creation, and multimedia consumption

• Help build and scale a performant, reliable, and delightful app experience using SwiftUI

• Own features end-to-end—from ideation and prototyping through production and long-term maintenance

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build thoughtful, accessible, and engaging experiences

• Bring deep technical expertise to the team, especially around SwiftUI and/or media workflows (video, image, audio)

• Mentor peers and contribute to team-wide iOS best practices, architecture, and tooling

• Influence mobile product strategy with a focus on Gen Z behavior and social exploration

Your experience

• Deep expertise in SwiftUI

• Proficient with, UIKit, MVVM+C, Swift, and Fastlane

• Hands-on experience with iOS 17+ and recent iOS development patterns

• Strong track record of owning and shipping user-facing features at scale

• Experienced in conducting code reviews, mentoring engineers, and driving technical excellence

• Clear communication and collaboration skills across functions and disciplines

Bonus experience

• Deep experience with AVFoundation or similar frameworks, including high-quality video and image uploads, processing, and playback

• Prior work on social media apps, content creation tools, or rich media workflows

• Skilled in diagnosing and fixing app performance issues like memory leaks, rendering bottlenecks, or slow startup times
