Skills
- Strong technical expertise in PAUT and various NDT methodologies (PT, VT, MT, RT, ET).
- Proficiency in inspection software such as UTEX InspectionWare and Olympus Tomoview.
- Advanced troubleshooting and quality assurance skills.
- Knowledge of relevant standards including ASNT SNT-TC-1A, NAS-410, AS, AMS, AWS, NAS, ASME, ASTM.
- Ability to perform audits and implement continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain NDE procedures and PAUT inspection techniques compliant with ASNT and NAS standards.
- Administer company NDE program, oversee personnel certifications, and assure quality standards compliance.
- Serve as final authority on NDE specifications and test result acceptability.
- Conduct internal audits and maintain quality assurance across NDE functions.
- Develop and lead training programs for Level I and II personnel across multiple NDT methods.
- Perform advanced inspections to support production, R&D, and urgent deliverables.
- Review engineering drawings to define inspection strategies and ensure compliance.
- Evaluate and document inspection findings, communicate results to key teams.
- Research and implement new inspection tools, automation, and data systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align inspection capabilities with product demands.
- Act as primary liaison with customers, regulatory bodies, and vendors.
