Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and execute software assurance and safety plans aligned with industry standards.
- Independently assess software engineering processes and compliance throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct rigorous analysis, verification, and validation to collect objective software quality evidence.
- Lead formal reviews and audits of software requirements, design, code, and test artifacts.
- Identify, assess, escalate, and track software risks and issues to resolution with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure implementation and verification of safety-critical and security requirements.
- Contribute to the improvement of software assurance tools, processes, metrics, and reporting.
- Mentor engineering teams on software assurance best practices and quality culture.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, software development, and mission assurance teams for integrated assurance objectives.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
