Customer Support Engineer I (Hardware)

Tekion is a software platform innovating the automotive retail industry using cloud-native technology and AI. They are seeking a Customer Support Engineer I to support dealership clients with hardware and software issues, ensuring excellent customer service in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Skills

  • 0-2 years of application support experience
  • Experience in production, application, or product support
  • Ability to learn employer-specific software quickly
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Capability to diagnose application issues
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of customer issues and resolve them through diagnosis and troubleshooting
  • Research and identify solutions to system issues
  • Escalate unresolved problems following standard procedures
  • Understand the application functionally and technically
  • Use internal/external resources to provide accurate technical solutions
  • Log all issues properly and manage multiple open cases
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports
  • Document technical knowledge in notes and manuals

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related technical field preferred
