Summary:

The Retail Functional Coordinator Sr position provides Simply the Best customer service at all times. Responsibilities include providing the most complex clerical/administrative support to assigned region, directly focusing on supporting the regional director by coordinating a variety of complex tasks. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides advanced clerical/administrative support to assigned region serving as the direct liaison to the regional director and coordinates a variety of complex tasks under minimal supervision.  Assures an exceptional customer experience for customers. 
  • Serves as a team leader, utilizing leadership and management skills, to other functional coordinators. Responsible for workflow direction, distribution and review.  Provides effective guidance on processes and procedures. Provides coaching, discovers training needs and ensures the cross training of others.
  • Serves as the escalation point for service related issues and handles the more difficult problems, only conferring with supervisor regarding the most unusual cases. Takes ownership ensures completion of problem resolution. 
  • Maintains subject matter expertise and ensures work completed of others and self adheres to applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. Utilizes specialized skills to coordinate, review, oversee, or administer programs, projects or processes related to the function served.
  • Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with the critical operations business partners of the bank. Consults and serves as an administrative liaison with bank personnel, outside vendors and/or customers. Maintains detailed knowledge of company operations, organizational procedures and area's internal and external clients.
  • Prioritizes daily workload with minimal supervision in accordance with established department deadlines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 or more years in a high-volume administrative role working on and resolving complex tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting senior level executives
  • Experience leading or managing others
  • Excellent in customer service, highly motivated, focused, and goal oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • PC and internet proficiency
  • Ability to provide corrective feedback and possibly a conflicting/alternative opinion
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability
