Account Receivable Specialist
A prestigious company in Atlanta has a need for contract AR Specialist to support their Accounting and Finance team! The candidate will need to be well versed in AR and collections. The candidate must also have experience working on Microsoft Excel.
They will provide equipment and work 100% remotely after training in office. This will be a 6 month contract with possibility of extension.
Office location: Sandy Springs, GA
Pay: $20-23hr
Hours: 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm
Interview process: 1 phone call, 2 video interviews.
Job Responsibilities
- Make Daily Collection Call and emails. Needs to have great email etiquette.
- Conduct Account Research and Analysis
- Prepare and Maintain Various Reports
- Maintain an accurate aging report
- Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments
- Send invoicing and statements
- Reconcile A/R
- Display a professional manner in dealing with others and must maintain constructive working relationships. The position requires complex problem solving skills related to identifying and rectifying issues among operations, IT and accounting.
- Review and audit reports for the Company’s clients that rely on us to account for their business.
- Identify the root cause of the issue, communicating it to the appropriate internal personal and tracking the resolution of the issue.
- Communicate effectively with customers, advocate customer needs and initiate resolution
- Support team members by establishing effective interpersonal relationships and cross functional partnering.
- Clearly demonstrates a good grasp of key job functions, relevant terminology, technical processes and standards.

Job Requirements
- 3 years Account Receivable and Collection experience
- B2B experience preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Office) Required
- Proficiency with Great Plains Accounting Software
