Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
Plans and administers procedures and budgets.
Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.
Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Nice to Have:
Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
Experience using lean tools and mechanisms to improve business and manufacturing processes
Experience in a high volume high mix environment
SAP and MES systems
Able to acquire high level of technical knowledge to problem solve issues
Can work closely with development partners to successfully launch new products
Versed in Quality Management Systems in a highly regulated industry
