Principal Hardware Test Engineer
Skills
- Proficiency in test programming using C#
- Experience with NI/Emerson test executive (TestStand) and STS software
- Hands-on experience with probe cards, load boards, and test hardware
- Familiarity with NI STS T2 and T4 tester architectures
- Statistical process control methodologies and software knowledge
- Project management and leadership skills
- Experience with RF, NVM, and high-speed communications products
Responsibilities
- Lead development of test programs and hardware on Automated Testing Equipment for silicon products
- Optimize yield, test time, multi-site count, and parallel test efficiency
- Develop RF wafer-level tests in a high-volume production environment
- Analyze large data sets using JMP, SQL, Matlab, and provide recommendations
- Serve as first point of contact for failure analysis and troubleshooting
- Develop and implement design requirements, test plans, and procedures
- Collaborate with process, analog, and digital IC design teams on test programs
- Apply troubleshooting skills to debug measurement-related issues
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
