Skills
- Experience writing and refining manufacturing work instructions
- Knowledge of FMEAs, process mapping, and time studies
- Process improvement techniques
- Ability to extract and analyze manufacturing KPIs
- Compliance with U.S. export control laws (ITAR)
Responsibilities
- Drive manufacturability into new and existing products using Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles
- Identify and implement quality and production efficiency improvements to aerospace mechanisms
- Design and implement production tooling and automation equipment
- Track and improve manufacturing KPIs
- Develop and maintain continuous manufacturing improvement processes
- Refine production procedures to enable efficient and reliable manufacturing
- Conduct non-conformance investigations and drive resolutions via root cause analysis and CAPA
- Travel as needed to other facilities, suppliers, conferences, and customers
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field is required
- Master’s degree preferred for senior roles
