Staff Firmware Engineer
Skills
- Proficient in RTL design and verification with expertise in HDL (SystemVerilog preferred).
- Experience in scripting languages, especially Python.
- Strong on RTL simulation, synthesis for FPGA targets (preferably Xilinx), and static timing analysis.
- Skilled in digital signal processing for embedded applications and model-based design paradigms.
- Experience with continuous integration methodologies and delivering tested, high-quality code.
- Proficient in C/C++ and object-oriented design for embedded systems.
- Knowledge of ARM-based micro-controllers, embedded Linux, RF concepts, and wireless firmware development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver firmware solutions powering RFID reader and gateway products addressing real-world use cases.
- Lead firmware feature design, implementation, testing, and productization while mentoring junior engineers.
- Collaborate closely with software, hardware, silicon, and systems teams to deliver critical product features.
- Debug and resolve complex problems across various use cases and support all development phases.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
