We are looking for a reliable and organized Employee Benefits Support Specialist to support our HUB Texas Employee Benefits Practice team. In this role, you will help with everyday office tasks such as processing insurance documents, managing reports, and assisting with requests from team members and clients. You will work closely with the Practice Leader and Sales Practice Leader and other staff, helping to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. The ideal person for this job is detail-oriented, good with computers (especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook), and comfortable juggling different tasks at once.
Provide support to the Practice Leader, Employee Benefits Sales Leader, and staff
Complete special projects as assigned by the Employee Benefits Practice Leader and Employee Benefits Sales Leader
Ensure data accuracy for client information
Complete weekly and monthly reports
Assist team with workflows
Assist with placing documents into management system; including but not limited to policies, cancellations, quotes, renewal notices, etc.
Process data from carriers and vendors into management systems
Other duties may be assigned
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent critical thinking and people skills, and the ability to articulate both written and verbal communications
Can prioritize workflow and understand urgency
Ability to work independently
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Ability to adapt to a routine as well address priorities of new or challenging issues
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to effectively interact with varying position levels including senior management
Ability to meet deadlines with tight timeframes
Positive attitude and teamwork driven
Understands the need for change and is flexible when needed
