VP Payer Sales

Vim is a fast-growing healthcare middleware platform enabling seamless clinical data exchange and collaboration among providers, payers, and tech companies. They seek a VP of Payer Sales to drive new business and expand relationships with payer organizations through the entire sales cycle, working cross-functionally to align product solutions with payer priorities.

Skills

  • Healthcare technology sales expertise with focus on payer organizations.
  • Ability to close 6–7 figure deals in health plans as an individual contributor.
  • Experience hunting and farming payer accounts in startup or scale-up settings.
  • Deep knowledge of payer pain points such as risk adjustment, STARS, provider performance, and value-based care.
  • Strong understanding of clinical data exchange, point-of-care solutions, and API integrations.
  • Relationship-building skills across diverse payer stakeholders including clinical, operations, network, and IT.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales lifecycle with payer organizations from prospecting to renewal.
  • Build and grow executive relationships with national and regional health plans, Medicaid/Medicare Advantage, and Blues plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, implementation, and clinical teams to tailor solutions.
  • Evangelize Vim’s platform across technology, operations, network, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Influence go-to-market strategy with insights from health plans.
  • Establish best practices and pipeline discipline to scale payer sales motions.
