We’re seeking a thoughtful, strategic, and hands-on People & Culture leader to join us as Station A’s first dedicated HR hire. This is a unique opportunity to shape and scale the HR function at a mission-driven, fast-growing startup—and to do it in a way that stays grounded in what already exists and works.
You’ll lead the evolution of our people function—from building scalable HR operations to strengthening a high-trust, high-performance, and values-aligned culture. With a team of 15 today, we already have policies, tools, and rhythms in place, and we’re looking for someone who can meet us where we are and help us take the next step.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in HR leadership, compliance, and scaling people operations—alongside practical experience in employee engagement, leadership coaching, and team development. You should be just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves to improve onboarding workflows as you are advising a manager on org planning or performance development.
This role also offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Head of Operations on strategic, cross-functional initiatives and take on high-priority projects across the business. You’ll be a key partner in operationalizing ideas, filling gaps, and helping the organization run more smoothly as we grow. A proactive, curious problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity will feel right at home here.
