Duty Station- Yakima, Washington – Yakima County
Hybrid/Telework- Although this is a hybrid opportunity, the successful candidate must be available to report to the duty station located in Yakima, Washington as needed. The selected candidate may be able to telework/work remotely up to one (1) day per week at the discretion of the supervisor.
The salary listed above does not include the 3% pay increase that goes into effect on July 1, 2025.

The Capital and Asset Management Program (CAMP) serves WDFW by delivering technical and professional engineering, construction, and maintenance to sustain facilities, infrastructure, and ecosystems.
As CAMP’s Administrative Assistant, you will support general office functions at the Yakima Construction Shop by providing guidance on rules and regulations pertaining to division administrative practices, ensuring compliance with retention of construction and administrative records, providing administrative support for a variety of financial documents, and more!
We are seeking an experienced office professional who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment while maintaining organization, efficiency, and accuracy.

Working Conditions:
Work Setting, including hazards: Work is generally performed in an office setting, requiring extensive computer and phone use. Performing the job's functions may require the following physical demands: occasionally lifting packages or other equipment weighing up to 30 lbs; carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; and significant fine finger dexterity.
Schedule: Typically, Monday – Thursday, 6:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. with a 30-minute lunch. A flexible work schedule may be considered at the incumbent’s request, subject to supervisory approval, including telework opportunity.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Option 1: Graduation from high school or GED AND two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in office/clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping, accounting, or general administrative work.
Option 2: An Associate’s degree or higher.
Option 3: One (1) year of experience as an Administrative Assistant 1.
Please Note: Formal education may substitute year-for-year for the general administrative work experience.
