Strategic Sales Executive- Hospitals

Role Overview

Sodexo Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Strategic Sales Executive - Healthcare to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand prospective clients’ needs, develop tailored solutions, and drive the sales process from initial connection through to contract signature. This position is perfect for someone with a process-oriented mindset, a passion for teamwork, and the ability to lead and manage multiple opportunities at once.

Sodexo is seeking a Strategic Sales Executive - Healthcare to join their team! This is a Field Based opportunity that is based in the West Region of the United States. Ideal candidate will reside in Phoenix Arizona, Salt Lake City, Utah, Denver, Colorado or New Mexico.  Due to the high travel requirements ranging from 40-70%, living near a major airport is essential.

 

Travel requirements can be upwards of 50% to support prospecting, deal volume commitments and client facing time, therefore living near a major airport is desired.

What You'll Do

  • Process Orientation: Manage a complex, yet defined sales process from initial discovery to solution design, proposal presentation, and contract negotiation. Your attention to detail and ability to navigate a structured process will ensure that opportunities progress smoothly through all stages.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to solve challenges, innovate solutions, and create winning strategies that achieve results. You will value team input, sharing ideas, and leveraging collective expertise.
  • Leadership: Lead cross-functional deal teams to drive the best solution for clients, ensuring clear communication and motivating teams to meet project goals. Your leadership will foster a collaborative environment where all voices are heard and contributions valued, helping to advance deals with both speed and precision.
  • Organization: Balance multiple parallel processes at various stages of development. Stay organized, manage schedules, and ensure that opportunities are progressing as planned to meet both your and the client’s timelines.
  • Accountability: Take pride in the quality of your work, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and a reliable track record in delivering on commitments. With a “say/do” mindset, you will ensure that each deal moves forward smoothly and efficiently.
  • Seller Mindset: Engage confidently with clients to uncover key business needs, actively listen to their pain points, and guide them to the most effective solutions. Your ability to influence and lead sales conversations will be crucial in closing deals.
  • Franchise Owner Mentality: Take a holistic approach to managing your regional business. Balance the art of prospecting to fill the top of the funnel while effectively converting mid-funnel opportunities into closed deals. Develop and execute a clear plan to win in your market.
  • Executive-Level Communication: Be a trusted spokesperson for Sodexo, able to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively to all levels of stakeholders. Whether in writing or in meetings, your clear, concise, and compelling communication will build trust and move deals forward.

  • Extensive experience in the healthcare business sector, with a strong understanding of key business processes across a variety of services.
  • Proven success in managing and executing a structured sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with a focus on adding value to clients and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • High digital acumen, with proficiency in sales tools like Salesforce, Chorus, Clari, Amplify, and Outreach.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to lead parallel processes and keep multiple opportunities progressing.
  • A "seller" mindset with the ability to confidently engage clients, listen actively, and influence decision-making.
  • A proven track record of leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve goals, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A sense of ownership and accountability, with a commitment to high-quality work and achieving desired results.
  • Excellent executive-level communication skills—both written and verbal—able to distill complex information into clear and actionable insights
