Senior Manager, Area General

Role Overview

Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a Senior Manager, Area General to join our team.  The Senior Manager, Area General will oversee up to 5 locations in the Cincinnati Ohio area. The current landscape is a mix of Cafes, Catering, Pantries, and Micro-Markets. The Senior Manager, Area General, will be the onsite Manager at 1 location and have oversight of the other locations, they will work under the direction of the District Manager and support and help the District Manager direct strategies throughout the region

What You'll Do

  • have oversight of day-to-day operations
  • successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline staff
  • deliver high quality food services including retail, catering 
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships (i.e., comfortable in c-suite settings where communication skills are imperative when serving as top level site management)

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 5 yearsMinimum Functional Experience - 5 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services
