Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing global accounting team focused on financial close, reporting, compliance, and tax.
- Oversee preparation and accuracy of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls and SOX compliance frameworks with continuous process improvements.
- Identify inefficiencies and modernize accounting processes through automation and best-in-class financial systems.
- Partner with CFO and executive leadership to align accounting with business strategy and support growth initiatives.
- Manage external audits, resolve issues, and build strong relationships with auditors.
- Provide leadership on accounting issues for global market expansions and ensure compliance with international regulations.
- Maintain strong engagement with Audit Chair and Audit Committee.
Education
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
- Preferred candidate has Big 4 public accounting background.
