Position Title: Social Media Community Engager (X)
Location: S.H.A.R.E. Community Development Corp Company Headquarters, Houston, Texas
Employment Type: Part-Time, 20 hours per week

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, Flexible 4-hour shift starting between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, ending 4 hours later

Compensation: $25 USD / hour.

IMPORTANT: WE ARE HIRING IMMEDIATELY. Candidates with immediate availability will be preferred. This is a Part-Time, in office W2 job.

Overview

We seek a proactive Social Media Community Engager to oversee our company’s X account. The role involves posting company-provided content, crafting engaging questions to drive interaction, growing followers, and engaging with users to promote our brand, products, and services. The candidate will work at our headquarters using a company computer, aligning with our brand’s vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Posting: Schedule and post provided content (text, images, videos), optimizing with trending hashtags, polls, and features like Threads and Spaces.
• Engagement: Write compelling questions in posts and replies to encourage likes, replies, and reposts, and interact via DMs, comments, and Spaces.
• Community Building: Engage with users by replying, quoting posts, and joining trending conversations to foster relationships and enhance brand visibility.
• Follower Growth: Use hashtags, trends, and collaborations to grow followers, optimizing the profile for discoverability.
• Brand Promotion: Highlight products and services through posts, polls, and engagement, driving interest and conversions.
• Analytics Monitoring: Use X Analytics to track performance (impressions, engagement, follower growth) and refine strategies.
• Collaboration: Share analytics and audience insights with the content team to align content with X’s conversational platform.
• Compliance: Follow company IT policies, brand guidelines, and X's community standards while working on-site. We will be monitoring adherence to the 4-hour per day requirement asking employees to check-in and out utilizing a Time-Tracking platform.

Requirements

• Proven X or similar platform management experience with a focus on engagement and growth.
• Expertise in X features (Polls, Spaces, Threads, Analytics).
• Ability to write engaging, trend-aligned questions and posts.
• Strong communication skills for interaction via replies and DMs.
• Familiarity X Analytics.
• Effective time management for a 4-hour shift.
• Comfortable working on company equipment at headquarters.
• Passion for real-time conversation and community building.

Work Environment

• Work at company headquarters on a company-provided computer.
• 4-hour daily shift (Monday–Friday), starting between 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, aligned with peak X activity hours.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams in-person.
