The Benefits Specialist will assist with HRIS implementations and system improvements. The Benefits Specialist will help to ensure timely and accurate completion of certain benefit transactions and serve as point of contact to local benefit coordinators. The Benefits Specialist will be the liaison between the Corporate EHP, local benefit coordinators, TPAs, and the IT benefits team. Ensure the company's policies and practices are compliant. Research, analyze, and administer healthcare plans and wellness programs. Assist with the administration of all benefits programs while ensuring accuracy of the enrollment. Assist in Benefits trainings both via teams and in person. Assist in auditing benefits documents from TPA and Vendors to make sure all information is up to date. Assist with all administrative aspects of Open enrollment including but not limited to updating benefits information, dispensing benefits information, and training teams on any benefits changes/updates.
Required qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree required or at least 3 years’ experience in Health Plan benefits administration.
2. Previous experience in Health Plan benefits administration.
3. Microsoft Office Skills required.
4. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Out of state travel required.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Previous experience with HRIS/Lawson, preferred.
2. Up to date Knowledge on Cobra and ACA regulations.

Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $68,640.00 to $97,760.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
