Dir, Business Development

Natera is a global leader in cell-free DNA testing focused on oncology, women’s health, and organ health. They seek a strategic, experienced Director of Business Development to lead growth initiatives, negotiations, and partnerships within the life sciences sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team on cross-selling opportunities across the product platform.
  • Engage targeted accounts at multiple levels to influence decision-making processes.
  • Identify and manage the selling process, including negotiation and closing of new business deals.
  • Track and analyze sales goals, providing improvement plans as needed.
  • Assess growth opportunities and work with legal, finance, and scientific teams to formulate proposals.
  • Lead cross-functional diligence teams and negotiate transactions.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, life sciences, pharmacy, or related field (required).
  • MBA or Ph.D. preferred.
