Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Hourly Rate: Up to $24.00 per hour
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll and expenses, including bank reconciliation
· Addresses employee inquiries regarding timekeeping, payroll and expenses
· Prepares monthly benefit invoices for payment, reviews billings for accuracy, resolves discrepancies if necessary
· Processes all Personal Action Forms
· Processes reports for annual audits and prepares necessary documentation for all audits
· Handles employee questions regarding benefits and leaves in the absence of the VP HR
· Maintains confidence in handling all HR matters
· Runs the following payroll reports within Paylocity and save them to Sharepoint – 00GL Report, 401K Census, Check Register, Payroll Register with YTD, Payroll Register, and Payroll Summary
· Prepares all expense allocation journal entries related to payroll and benefits for entry to the General Ledger as directed by the CFO and/or Accounting Manager.
· Prepares Payroll Journal Entry for posting to the General Ledger
· Prepares Unemployment Monthly Entry for positing to the General Ledger after receiving the monthly amounts
· Enter all purchase orders related to payroll and benefits into purchase order system for approval. Maintain all Paylocity reports and allocation tables to facilitate timely and accurate reporting
· Be the primary contact for Paylocity to resolve payroll report problems
· Answers all payroll related questions and discrepancies for voucher accountants
· Generates and saves payroll reports into appropriate payroll folders within Sharepoint
· Processes payroll in the absence of the VP HR
· Approves and processes expenses for uploading into payroll
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Associate’s Degree in related field
EXPERIENCE: Prefer two years’ experience in payroll, accounting/bookkeeping, and HR Non-profit experience preferred. Excellent computer skills with proficiency working in Excel (intermediate level experience), Word and accounting software (MIP) required.

Majority of work is performed at desk or personal computer
