What this job involves: We're seeking a motivated Facility & Lab Coordinator to join our JLL team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to build your career in laboratory operations while gaining valuable experience in research and development environments. As the primary point of contact for facility and lab maintenance activities, you'll ensure smooth daily operations while delivering exceptional service.

 

What your day-to-day will look like: 

• Manage front desk operations, greeting customers and visitors professionally
• Provide specific service recommendations and coordinate support between departments
• Oversee package deliveries and provide backup support for mailroom operations
• Address facilities and laboratory service inquiries promptly and professionally
• Maintain inventory of lab supplies, chemicals, and maintenance materials
• Conduct regular lab inspections to ensure cleanliness and organization standards
• Support facilities team with maintenance scheduling and coordination
• Liaise with vendors and service providers, including escorting when required
• Handle documentation, recordkeeping, and data entry tasks
• Process access card requests and assist with mail distribution

 

Desired or Preferred Experience and Technical Skills 

• Associate's degree
• Familiarity with laboratory environments or scientific settings
• Previous experience in customer-facing roles
• Knowledge of basic laboratory safety practices
• Experience with inventory management systems
• Exposure to facilities management concepts

 

Required Skills and Experience

• High school diploma
• 0–1-year experience in laboratory, facilities, hospitality, or customer service
• Demonstrated interest in science, laboratory operations, or facility management
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
• Effective organizational abilities and time management
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies
• Team-oriented with collaborative approach
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Commitment to continuous improvement

 

This position offers comprehensive on-the-job training and development opportunities to build valuable skills in laboratory and facilities management.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

5,000,000.00 – 70,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
