Description

Isaacs & Isaacs Personal Injury Lawyers is looking for a Part-Time HR Coordinator who will report to our Human Resources Director (HRD). The HR Coordinator will concentrate on assisting our HRD with daily task / work and communication flow with the management team. 


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling candidate interviews with HR and Hiring Managers, reference checks, and job offers.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all onboarding is completed through the HRIS systems, workflows are kicked off, coordinating benefits enrollment with employee navigator, coordinate with IT & Hiring manager to ensure a seamless integration into the firm.
  • Coordinate with the company store for new hire and anniversary apparel monthly – add new hires, remove terms.
  • Assist with open enrollment and new hire benefits coordination. Assist HR Director in annual benefits review.
  • Maintain and update employee data in the HR information system (HRIS), generate reports, and ensure accuracy of HR personnel and medical files. HR Director becomes the approver in the system for changes.
  • Working with the HR Director, plan and execute employee engagement & recognition initiatives, such as social events, recognition programs, and employee surveys. Update monthly newsletter, collect information from HR Director and other hiring managers to complete monthly. Send emails on new hire announcements. 
  • Collect and analyze HR data, prepare reports on key HR metrics, and provide insights to HR Director for informed decision-making. Maintain HR Score Card once created with the HR Director.
  • Coordinate the offboarding process for departing employees, conducting exit interviews, and ensuring smooth transitions while maintaining positive employer branding.
  • Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee records, including personnel files, benefits information, and performance-related documentation.

Requirements

  

Position Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business or HR preferred.

· Must have 3-5 years experience in Human Resources

· Must be a self starter with a strong work ethic and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

· Must have great people skills as the position requires a great deal of client contact.

· Must be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines.

· Must be well organized and detail oriented.

· Must have exceptional communication and written skills, must fluent in English, and be able to present in meetings.

· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office – Email, Excel (must be able to create and sort tables efficiently), PPT, Word, PDFs.

· Maintain confidentiality of all firm matters, and personal employee records.
