Media & Graphic Design Specialist

The Elevator Pitch:

We’re searching for a Design & Media Production Specialist who is a creative genius and biased towards action to join the Marketing team and make immediate impact. This isn’t just a production job, it’s a chance to help lead creative projects from concept to launch and collaborate across teams. What Does Success Look Like? 

In the first 30 days, you will: 

  • Participate in our new hire orientation, to understand company culture, processes, and expectations. 
  • Meet with team members and cross-functional stakeholders laying the groundwork for future collaboration and communication.  
  • Analyze past and current designs, templates and landing pages and form an opinion on how to make improvements. 
  • Audit the Canva templates to identify opportunities for optimization, growth and efficiency. 
  • Audit Showpad for content still in use that’s in our old brand or messaging. 

Within 3 months, you will: 

  • Refine creative asset task process. 
  • Be refining current brochures and materials,  
  • Update all icons utilized by Engineering previously designed by Ideometry to ensure they are on-brand. 
  • Polish pitch deck and look to optimize slide master options. 
  • Refine brand guide in partnership with team. 
  • Create a condensed brand guide for Channel team. 
  • Develop additional templates in Canva based off of the audit performed in first 30 days. 
  • Help update website copy, keep media coverage up to date and help with publishing blogs and press releases for the team. 
  • Work on updating content found on Showpad that are not within brand. 
  • Develop additional customer onboarding templates. 

 

By the end of the year, you will: 

  • Be the go-to designer for materials needed across the Company. 
  • Identify software tools and training that can benefit the role and team. 
  • Help move our team from Asana to the chosen new platform. 
  • Identify better ways to archive files and maintain a content repository. 
  • Identify better ways to track and report on design hours used by department or department area. 
  • Start working with the Customer Marketing & Product Marketing teams to help film and produce case study videos and perhaps attend onsite customer video shoots. 

 

 

The Work: 

Your daily responsibilities might range depending on the stage of a project. Often, you will find yourself designing an infographic, paid social ad, or updating or designing new collateral. Since seeing is believing, while a picture is worth a thousand words, videos speak volumes. Thus, other times you will find yourself working alongside our Brand or Product Marketing teams developing short video clips driving awareness and demand on our social media channels – these can range from product features to customer sound bites. And of course, during post-production, you’ll be selecting music, fine-tuning and publishing the final product.   

 

Creative & Design Services: 

  • General design, photo manipulation, digital illustration, and layout work for example: 
  • Blog post featured images (or supporting in-line images if needed). 
  • Social media platforms (X, Facebook, Linkedin, Pinterest, etc.). 
  • Copywriting and copyediting. 
  • Design and production of social media and display advertising, executed in multiple sizes (for example: a 300x250 banner ad specifically for evolv.com). 
  • Digital advertising layout and design (for example: an advertisement in an ePublication). 
  • Print and promotional collateral (for example: a postcard, one-pager, solution brief, spec sheet or mailer). 
  • Customer onboarding materials (for example: sandwich board signs, co-branded brochures, etc.) 
  • Channel marketing materials. 
  • eBook design and Layout. 
  • PowerPoint Templates / PowerPoint Presentation Design (or comparable presentation software). 
  • Marketing automation strategy and implementation. 
  • Custom dashboard develop and reporting. 
  • Canva templates to continue to allow for “self-service” model for FM team. 

 

Photo, Video & Post-Production: 

  • Capture headshots for employees. 
  • Capture in-house photos at Company events and for HR-related materials. 
  • Polish videos after webinars and VEE’s for use on the website and in Demand Gen (DG) campaigns. 
  • Manage and oversee video pre-production planning and on-site production activities. 
  • Regularly produce YouTube shorts and other video soundbites to use on social. 
  • Respond to needs and requests from Executive Leadership team for pilot success videos. 
  • Help manage and produce Company quarterly report videos. 

 

Website & Landing Page Development 

  • Content Updates. 
  • Design Updates. 
  • Integration of additional content.. 
  • Development of additional pages following the site’s existing code base. 
  • Quality assurance. 

 

Asset Traffic Management:  

  • Manages the day-to-day creative services materials in production. 
  • Alignment and accountability for projects in the process: 
  • Keeping stakeholders on track. 
  • Reducing # of reviews | edits | revisions. 
  • Identifying consolidation opportunities to reduce resource needs & costs. 

 

Additionally, you will be responsible for: 

  • Delivering all design and media products on time and within budget. 
  • Ensuring all designs are on brand. 
  • Identifying best practices for design and video production. 
  • Managing all Asana creative tasks. 
  • Overseeing video and content repository. 
  • Building out metrics to measure success. 

 

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team? 

While this role resides within the Brand team, reporting to the Senior Director of Brand & Strategic Programs, you’ll have an opportunity to work cross-functionally with our Demand Generation, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Customer Success, PR & Communications and Product Management teams.

Where is the role located? 

This role is based out of the HQ in Waltham, Massachusetts with some flexibility in being remote some days. Those that work out of the Waltham office are encouraged to be in the office three days a week for better collaboration. 

 

What is the salary range? 

The base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 -75,000 +bonus+ equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. 

Please note that the compensation details listed in role posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in graphic design, content creation, or digital media production

Core Competencies

Graphic Design & Layout

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially:
    • Photoshop – image editing and compositing
    • Illustrator – vector graphics, icons, logos, and banner designs
    • InDesign – layout design for brochures, reports, and eBooks
  • Strong skills in Canva for quick-turn, templated, brand-consistent content

Video & Motion Graphics

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro for professional video editing
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Adobe After Effects or DaVinci Resolve for motion graphics and advanced video work

Photography & Content Creation

  • Working knowledge of DSLR or mirrorless cameras
  • Skilled in Adobe Lightroom for photo editing and color grading
  • Bonus: Experience with Capture One for studio photo workflows

Digital & Web Content

  • Comfortable working in WordPress or Webflow for publishing and maintaining web content
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus

Project & Asset Management

  • Experience using tools such as Trello, Asana, or Monday.com to manage creative projects
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 for team collaboration
  • Familiarity with Dropbox, Box, or Frame.io for file sharing and version control

Bonus Points For:

  • Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for UI/UX and prototyping
  • Final Cut Pro or Descript for alternative or AI-powered video workflows
