Data Engineer
Skills
- Proficient in SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL programming
- Experience with database platforms: SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, Oracle
- Familiarity with data reporting tools: QlikSense, QlikView, Spotfire, Tableau, JReview
- Knowledge of ETL, data warehouses, data modeling, and data pipelines
- Understanding of cloud/hybrid data architecture concepts a plus
- Experience with programming languages like .NET, C#, Python, R, Java
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy efficient SQL and data mapping code per specifications
- Develop ETL processes supporting analytic software and data projects
- Collaborate with analytics developers, team members, and clients to translate business requirements into database objects and visualizations
- Create analytics reports and visualizations using tools such as JReview and Qlik
- Provide diagnostic support and defect resolution
- Ensure compliance with industry quality standards, regulations, and procedures
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
