[Contract] Thought-Leadership Content & Audience Development (AI + Security Themes)

Hours: 20 hours a week

Length of contract: 6-7 months

• Develops original, opinionated social content aligned to Docker’s key editorial themes.

• Crafts thought-provoking posts, documents, and engagement threads that reflect and shape Docker’s voice in the broader tech conversation.

• Collaborates with subject-matter experts and execs to translate internal insights into public-facing narratives that resonate with technical and business audiences.

• Engages with relevant communities and conversations on LinkedIn, Reddit, Discord, and beyond; responding when appropriate, amplifying, and feeding insights back into content planning.

• Ghostwrites and packages thought-leadership content for execs as part of a broader narrative and distribution strategy, not just isolated posts.

  Brings a strategic lens to thought-leadership programming, surfacing timely themes, curating high-signal third-party content, and helping set the editorial agenda.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in editorial strategy or B2B tech storytelling.

• Deep fluency in AI, security, and cloud-native trends and discourse.

• Strong ghostwriting ability and experience working with execs or SMEs.

• Strategic thinker who can drive a narrative, not just write individual posts.

• Experience building influence in technical and/or business circles.
