Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Canva, as well as interpersonal skills for relationship-building.
Qualifications: At least 6 months of relevant experience in communications or related fields, including internships or freelance work.
Location: This position can be hybrid in either New York, NY or Naperville, IL, with potential for 100% remote work from specific states.
Compensation: $21 - $24 / Hourly
We are seeking a Publicity Assistant to join the dynamic team behind the #1 romance publisher in the industry. Working on Bloom Books, Sourcebooks Casablanca and Cosmo Reads titles, this role will have the opportunity to partner with senior staff on major author campaigns. This role will report to the Associate Director of Publicity but will involve strong collaboration with all teams at Sourcebooks.
The position also allows for a hybrid work schedule at our New York, New York or our Naperville, Illinois office and may qualify for a 100% remote position from the following states: Illinois, Arizona, Connecticut, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin. office if desired. This role includes some travel, including occasional meetings at the home office in Naperville, IL.
This is an hourly, non-exempt position with a salary range for this role is $21.16 - $24.04/hourly.
