The Account Manager is responsible for growing sales of consumables, capital & services leveraging technical support team, cross-functional resources, and product & application knowledge in our top accounts.

This position reports to the East Region Sales Manager and is part of the Energy + Americas Commercial Organization ideally located in Indianapolis, IN or Louisville, KY and will be working remotely to cover KY, IN, and MO. This is an expansion region and will have additional state(s) added in 2026.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and orders targets as assigned by Energy+ management.

  • Drive business expansion by significantly increasing market share in existing accounts through establishing and nurturing strong relationships with end-users and customer management. Promote all Pall technologies and capabilities, including Pall filters, coalescers and housings in the Energy+ markets.

  • Identify and prioritize high-impact customer capacity expansion opportunities, collaborating with sales and strategic teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure successful sales completion

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams within Pall (Field Application Specialists, Scientific & Laboratory Services, Marketing, Product Management, Inside Sales, etc.) to develop and implement effective sales strategies that address customers’ needs promptly and secure sales opportunities.

  • Report and communicate all high-value business opportunities, solution concepts, and strategies to Pall management through SFDC and Energy+ standard work.  Using tools such as account plans while maintaining a strong, regular customer presence with multiple daily high-level face-to-face customer interactions

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 3+ years’ experience in providing products and services to Refinery and Oil & Gas, Chemical or General Industrial industries. In exchange for sales experience, we will consider experience as a process/project/maintenance engineer in an Oil & Gas, refining or petrochemical facility looking to start a career in technical sales.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (preferably in mechanical/chemical engineering, chemistry, biological sciences, or technical degree) or equivalent experience considered.

  • Experience in consumables sales as well as capital equipment is desired

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel – minimum 50% travel

  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Filtration and separation product sales

  • Energy transition solutions

  • Experience with SFDC or other CRM platform

The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $125,000 USD.  This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
