As a Senior Manager on the Colleague Relations Team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Workforce Reduction Advisors who support the enterprise by providing expert consultation and guidance to CVS leaders and colleagues on the process and policies related to Workforce Reduction. Additionally, as the Senior Manager of this team, you will be responsible for handling the sensitive and/or escalated matters reported to your team.
You will support the development and execution of Colleague Relations Workforce Reduction processes and practices and help develop strategies and interventions to support the evolution of Colleague Relations Workforce Reduction. As directed by the Lead Director of Workforce Reduction, this role will provide oversight, guidance/mentoring to Workforce Reduction Advisors, own relationships with designated functional partners (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Security), HRBP’s/leaders, and deliver applicable reporting to identify trends and recommend appropriate solutions for the Enterprise.
In this role, you will also act as expert and business owner for the workforce reduction tool, driving system improvements, enhancements, and issue resolution in partnership with internal and external technical teams across CVSH IT, HRIT, vendor, WFR leadership, etc.
In this role you will possess:
Solid problem solving and decision-making skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills including expertise in conflict management, investigation, negotiation and influencing
Able to direct a staff of 10 or more Colleague Relations Advisors and provide ongoing coaching on performance and productivity
Highly organized, and able to prioritize and plan time/resources accordingly, in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
A sense of urgency and drive for results coupled with ability to build relationships and partner effectively with all levels of the organization
Strong project management skills, including the ability to create, maintain, and manage detailed project plans and timelines under strict confidentiality
Excellent follow through and attention to detail
Excellent organization skills with particular emphasis on accuracy
Exercises discretion/independent judgement and make decisions in timely manner consistent with essential job function while adhering to CVS Health values and policies
Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
Good business acumen
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of HR experience
Ability to present and deliver training
Knowledge of current state and federal employment laws and regulations
High degree of emotional intelligence, professionalism, and discretion while adhering to CVS Health values and policies
Ability to work with our technology partners to clearly identify and communicate the business requirements for system enhancements, and the ability to lead end-to-end test plan creation and execution
Willingness to travel up to 10% (including plane travel)
Preferred Qualifications:
Workforce Reduction experience
Cloud-based technology experience
IT/business analyst experience
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required; equivalent work experience may substitute.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$75,400.00 - $165,954.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
