Reports to: Organization Development Manager

Compensation*: $31.44 - $38.70 commensurate with skills and experience

Employment Classification: Non-Exempt

Anticipated Start Date: Position is open until filled

Office Location: Portland Metro Area, Oregon, USA

Our Location

Energy Trust provides for a range of work location options, including remote, hybrid and in-office work. This position will represent Energy Trust in public settings and potentially at community events. We are open to candidates who live throughout Oregon and Washington. The Change Management/Organizational Development Practitioner would be expected to report to the office on a quarterly basis, at minimum.

What We’re Looking For:

As a member of our small Organization Development team, support the successful implementation of an increasing number of large-scale organization-wide projects and initiatives involving changes to business processes, team structures, data systems, culture change, etc. This position reports to the Change Management/Organizational Development Practitioner and works closely with the Change Management Specialist.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the assigned change management resource on various project teams. Partner closely with project managers, project team members, and other functional area specialists to achieve successful outcomes. Specific tasks include:
    • Assess stakeholder impact and develop change management plans, in partnership with project managers and project team members
    • Implement change management action items
    • Develop communications and training materials
    • Continuously monitor progress to desired outcomes and adapt as needed
    • Provide backup and supplemental support to the Change Management Specialist, as needed
  • Assist other members of the Org. Development team supporting large scale org. wide change initiatives. Miscellaneous tasks include:
    • Schedule and co-facilitate meetings
    • Compile summary notes
    • Conduct ‘voice of customer’ discovery interviews
    • Design, implement and analyze custom surveys
    • Draft communications materials, team agreements and process documents
    • Update intranet pages using MS-Sharepoint
    • Summarize findings of research on relevant OD topics
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Perform all functions of the job in a safe manner.

Supervisory Responsibility

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2 years of experience in relevant roles such as change management, organization development, learning and development, communications, and/or project management in support of large-scale change initiatives and business process improvements impacting multiple teams.
  • Working knowledge of the Prosci/ADKAR change management framework
  • Experience supporting large scale organizational change impacting multiple functional groups
