Strategic Account Executive - NorthCentral

Chainguard is a secure software development company providing guarded open source solutions to eliminate software supply chain threats. We seek a Strategic Account Executive with strong sales experience and domain expertise to drive sales in the North Central US region.

Skills

  • Strong market knowledge selling to Global 2000 companies
  • Domain expertise in compute platforms, DevOps tooling, CICD, and SDLC
  • Proven record of exceeding sales targets
  • Quick learner of products and processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Team collaboration
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute sales plans for assigned territory
  • Convey product value propositions and differentiators to prospects and customers
  • Forecast, meet, and exceed sales quota
  • Develop and manage lead funnel via inbound and outbound channels
  • Manage business and track opportunities through CRM and other tools
  • Collaborate across teams to improve the sales cycle
  • Understand competitive market and offerings

Education

  • Relevant sales experience in technology or software domains
