The product team provides comprehensive software solutions for rapidly accessing and visually transforming complex engineering and manufacturing product data. Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of in-house software applications that support our business lines. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, and adapt to changing priorities.
Position Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, tests, implements, maintains, and documents computing software applications providing value to our business partners
Analyzes, gathers, and evaluates end user requirements
Works with Product Specialists, System and Technical Architects, User Experience (UX) Designer and Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design systems and programs to meet highly complex business needs
Provides technical support for Production issues
Reviews system performance and identify and recommend improvements
Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews for offshore and onshore development teams
Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs
Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation
Stays up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
Stays informed about security vulnerabilities and implement appropriate measures to protect our software applications and data
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of Software Development experience
1+ years of experience with front end web programming (Angular 9/10+, Typescript, JavaScript)
1+ years of experience with backend development (Java, Spring, Oracle SQL, SQL Server)
Willing to work at off hours to support communication with team members located outside US as well as provide on call support on weekends for Production Releases on a rotational basis
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously
