Web Developer

Aescape is looking for a Web Developer who can develop full-stack web applications and build scalable platforms to drive seamless booking experiences as we prepare to ship our massage experience to hundreds of new locations. This is an amazing opportunity for you to own the digital platform development and develop your hardware-software integration skills as we revolutionize the massage therapy industry. This position is based onsite at our San Francisco office.

What You’ll Do 

• Develop and implement full-stack web applications that power our revolutionary massage booking and partner management ecosystem.

• Build scalable, responsive platforms that connect our network of AI-powered massage robots across hospitality, wellness, and fitness locations worldwide.

• Create seamless booking experiences that integrate with our robotics scheduling systems and real-time availability data.

• Work closely with our robotics teams to develop web interfaces that monitor system performance, utilization metrics, and massage quality analytics.

• Collaborate with Product Engineering, UX designers, partnerships, and operations teams to build tools that support our rapid expansion into luxury hotels, fitness clubs, and wellness centers.

• Develop APIs and backend systems that handle the complex orchestration of autonomous massage experiences across multiple locations.
  

What You’ll Bring

• Strong full-stack development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, Node.js, and backend API development.

• Experience building responsive web applications that handle real-time data and complex state management.

• Solid understanding of database design and data modeling for scalable business applications.

• A background working with IoT systems, device management platforms, or applications that interface with physical hardware.

• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams, especially in environments involving hardware-software integration.
