- Master the responsibilities of a manager and take charge of supervising and mentoring managers, supervisors, and senior accountants.
- Provide valuable feedback and evaluations to help your team grow and succeed.
- Keep projects on track by monitoring progress, reviewing work, and spending time with clients to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Engage in practice development to build new relationships and create revenue-generating opportunities for the firm.
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration to ensure seamless completion of client engagements.
- Contribute to the overall health and growth of the firm by seeking out areas for improvement.
- Align with the firm's philosophy and the views held by our partners.
Requirements
What you Bring:
- Bachelor's and/or advanced degree in accounting.
- 8-10 years of experience in public accounting, with at least 1-3 years as a Manager.
- CPA certification.
- Technical proficiency and the ability to supervise complete engagements.
- Membership in AICPA and NCACPA.
- Proficiency in using computers, accounting software, and assurance software programs.
- Completion of career development CPE requirements to enhance management and communication skills.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and client service skills.
- Initiative, creativity, and imagination.
- Valid driver's license and a good Motor Vehicle Record.
- Travel, as needed.
Essential Physical Requirements:
- Fine hand manipulation in keyboarding for 5-6 hours per day.
