Skills
- Experience designing functional test equipment and automation hardware
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as C, C++, C#, Python, MATLAB
- Knowledge of schematic capture and PCBA layout tools such as Altium Designer
- Familiarity with computer hardware communication protocols (USB, I2C, Ethernet, SPI, etc.)
- Understanding of lab safety protocols and measurement analysis techniques
- Source code revision and control experience, preferably with GitHub
- Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines
Responsibilities
- Lead End of Line test plan definition for new products and features with cross-functional collaboration
- Design and execute PCBA and electrical system component tests including hands-on testing and rework
- Analyze test data and communicate results to design engineers for product problem resolution
- Develop and implement next-generation test automation hardware systems
- Manage purchasing, build, integration, and commissioning of functional testers
- Develop test procedures and automate tests from component to system level
- Support board bring-up, bench validation, and design for testability feedback
- Assist manufacturing test bring-up and yield improvement
- Participate actively in design reviews
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
