- Experienced in RF/microwave circuit design and modeling
- Proficient using RF test equipment like spectrum analyzers and network analyzers
- Knowledgeable of RF passive components and microwave frequency characterization
- Ability with design software such as ADS, HFSS, AWR, and PCB tools like Altium Designer
- Programming experience in Matlab, Python, C++ for RF system analysis and test automation
- Familiarity with digital communication systems and modulation techniques
Responsibilities
- Simulate and model RF front-end systems collaborating with architects and engineers
- Derive RF hardware specifications for system and component levels
- Develop RF and microwave circuits, including MMICs, boards, and packages
- Evaluate and characterize prototype RF components and full radio performance
- Assist in automating lab test equipment and measurements
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers for production testing of RF avionics
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
