Electrical Engineer – Missiles/Circuit design
Skills
- Proficiency with test equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, current probes.
- Knowledge of standard interfaces: Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB.
- Experience with common MCU, CPU, FPGA devices.
- Expertise in analog and digital electronics, signal and power integrity design.
- Familiarity with electronic CAD tools such as Altium, Eagle.
- Test experience including data acquisition, analysis, and project coordination.
Responsibilities
- Perform full cycle PCB design including requirements gathering, schematic design, component selection, layout supervision, bring-up, test, debug, and integration.
- Develop fuzing circuitry for missile systems and collaborate closely with vehicle development teams.
- Create system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses connecting electronic equipment within vehicles.
- Support subsystem development within air vehicle constraints and conduct vendor surveys for component sourcing.
- Lead peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews and participate in lab, ground, and flight testing.
- Develop low-level firmware for test bring-up and conduct root cause analysis for field operations.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
