We are seeking a detail-oriented and fluent Spanish to English Translator to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately translating written content from Spanish to English while maintaining the original meaning, tone, and context. The ideal candidate is fluent in both languages, culturally aware, and comfortable working independently in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate a variety of documents and materials from Spanish to English, including emails, reports, legal documents, and more
Ensure translations are accurate, clear, and preserve the original tone and intent
Proofread and edit translated materials for grammar, punctuation, and formatting
Work closely with internal teams or clients to clarify context and terminology when needed
Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
Use translation tools and glossaries to ensure consistency across projects
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Qualifications
Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken)
Proven experience as a translator or similar language role
Excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills in English
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in translation software and tools.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong time management and communication skills
