Visa Direct is a payment service that Visa provides to clients (sending and receiving financial institutions, processors, merchants and service providers) to facilitate fund transfers/disbursements to Visa accounts around the world using push payment technology. Visa Direct consumer and business applications include person-to-person (P2P) transfers, person to micro-business transfers (e.g. payouts to shared economy providers), funds disbursement (e.g. insurance claim disbursements), and more. The push payments market is estimated to be more than 80 Trillion of payment volume globally.
We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager who is a self-starter, ready to learn and experiment, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. A key driver of success will be the ability to focus on the highest leverage activities in the face of rapid change and new information, and the ability to independently drive activities all the way to successful completion. Product management will be a focal point in our strategy to deliver world-class Visa Direct products to market, and the Sr. Product Manager role is a key piece of that vision.
Essential Functions
Basic Qualifications
• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or a minimum of 2 years relevant work
Preferred Qualifications
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• Strong analytical skills with familiarity of payment systems (card networks, ACH, RTP, SWIFT, digital wallets)
• Passionate about what you do and excited about the opportunity to transform payments working for the industry leader.
• Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to achieve results as part of an effective team, and ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task under deadlines.
• Possess or quickly develop subject matter expertise on the Visa Direct product, including platform expertise, market nuances, pricing economics, etc.
• Ability to quickly learn about the internal Visa systems and their functionality. VisaNet knowledge and API experience considered a strong asset.
• Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences in an approachable way and strong documentation skills, including PowerPoint
• Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on delivering for clients.
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 143,200.00 to 207,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
