The Role:
Our client is seeking a Quantitative Risk Analyst to join their QRM team. This group is responsible for
developing and supporting risk models used to quantify exposure and support broader risk management
functions. You'll work with fixed income data, run scenario analyses, develop model performance metrics, and
support both internal risk teams and external regulators with high-quality, research-driven outputs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
● Maintain and enhance in-house fixed income risk models
● Develop model performance analytics and explain model behavior to internal and external stakeholders
● Build tools and run scenario analyses to evaluate risk across multiple products
● Support data sourcing and management for quantitative research and model development
● Ensure compliance with internal controls, procedures, and risk management frameworks
What You Bring:
● 5+ years in a quantitative modeling or research role, ideally within fixed income
● Strong knowledge of Treasury securities and/or MBS pricing models and VaR techniques (preferred)
● Fluency in Python and SQL (required)
● Deep understanding of risk modeling methodologies and market data
● Sharp problem-solving skills and attention to analytical detail
● Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills
