Job Description
Our client, a leader in the global financial services industry, is seeking a seasoned IAM Architect
to lead the design and evolution of Identity and Access Management solutions across the
enterprise. This role is responsible for shaping the functional and technical direction of IAM
systems, aligning with security, compliance, and business goals. The position also plays a
critical role in testing, integration, and ongoing support, serving as a strategic liaison between
IT, business stakeholders, and external partners
Key Responsibilities
● Lead IAM strategy and next-gen solution design to support business innovation and
security.
● Own engineering and operational design standards for the IAM program.
● Ensure all solutions meet security, scalability, availability, and compliance requirements.
● Oversee legacy modernization and migration to cloud environments.
● Collaborate across infrastructure, architecture, and business units to align on best
practices.
● Evaluate and adopt emerging IAM technologies through proof-of-concepts.
● Drive platform improvements using principles of standardization, reusability, and
integration.
● Ensure adherence to firm-wide and industry-wide IAM security standards.
Qualifications
● 10+ years in software development and architecture, with a focus on IAM.
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
● Deep expertise in IAM architecture (PBAC, PAM, Workforce, CIAM, Machine Identity
preferred).
● Experience leading enterprise IAM initiatives in cloud and hybrid environments.
● Knowledge of IAM in highly regulated environments and risk-based security models.
● Proven leadership in designing and deploying large-scale IAM platforms.
● Familiarity with modern security frameworks (NIST), and industry IAM trends.
