Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and transportation programs for a dispersed workforce.
- Lead safety initiatives including assessments, inspections, incident investigations, and risk reduction plans.
- Manage incident and injury reporting systems and conduct root cause analysis utilizing HOP principles.
- Oversee behavioral observation programs to maintain employee engagement.
- Coordinate permit renewals, required inspections, and reporting activities.
- Develop and lead emergency response plans and drills.
- Ensure transportation and logistics compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in utilization and maintenance of compliance data systems.
- Conduct internal training on regulatory requirements and safety programs.
- Manage medical surveillance program requirements and support drug and alcohol policy implementation.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in environmental health, safety or related field or equivalent experience.
